Patriot Minute: What is the Bill of Rights?
Patriot Minute: What is the Bill of Rights?
Why do we have a Bill of Rights? The fierce debate between Federalists and Anti-Federalists during the drafting of the Constitution in 1787 led to the creation of the first ten amendments. These amendments protect our fundamental freedoms, including speech, religion, and the right to bear arms, among many others.
Learn how these crucial safeguards were designed to prevent government overreach and preserve our individual liberties. Understanding the Bill of Rights is essential for every American citizen. Us it or lose it!

Patriot Minute: Frederick Douglass, American Patriot
Frederick Douglass was an escaped slave who became a speaker, celebrated author, and passionate advocate for abolition, Black equality, and women's suffrage. He also recruited over 200,000 black soldiers and sailors, which would make up about 10% of the Union Army, playing a critical role in the defeat of the Democrat-run Confederate South and their slave holders.
Through a lifetime of effort, this great American patriot worked tirelessly to secure the ideals espoused in the Declaration of Independence for all Americans.
Douglass never smiled in any photographs because he felt it inappropriate until all slaves were freed. One of my favorite quotes by him is:
"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men."

Patriot Minute: Every Day is Independence Day
Independence Day isn't just a day off from work; it's a celebration of our Republic's founding principles. This short explores the bravery of the men and women in 1776 who risked everything for their freedom and ours. Their dedication to the timeless truths in the Declaration of Independence should be cherished and defended every day.
Join us as we honor their legacy and remember the importance of teaching future generations about our ongoing fight to preserve freedom. As Thomas Jefferson said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground." Let's make every day Independence Day by upholding these ideals.

"Angels in White" Extended
“Angels in White” celebrates nurses and is dedicated to the memory of Susan Carol Bolack Sulier, L.P.N.
Nurses are often under-appreciated. Whether male or female, they are a special breed, worthy of our praise. I wrote this song in August of 2019 for a friend of mine who had lost his wife to cancer the year before. I didn't receive any money... I just wanted this song and lyric video to be a celebration of her life and a “thank you” to all nurses to show how much we appreciate what they do and to encourage others to consider entering this noble field.
Please note that although the song is registered and has been submitted for release, it is not yet available on streaming platforms or for download as it is still being processed. I simply didn't want to delay getting the video out to nurses and all healthcare workers while they are going through so much for us. Recording was complete just before the COVID-19 pandemic and it was released as nurses were being called on at its height.
