Vulture-eating Birds, Consuming One Cow
Cow carcasses are important food for vultures whose main food is animal carcasses. In Spain, usually cow carcasses are left intact, but in Portugal it is mandatory to dispose of cow carcasses by burying or burning them directly. Please note that today, Spain is home to 90% of the vultures in Europe. In Europe, there are strict laws against leaving cattle that have died from mad cow disease. However, in Spain, there is a massive rejection of the rule. They argue that collecting, transporting and disposing of dead livestock is expensive, and that the carbon dioxide released during burning will cause pollution. Because of the refusal, the European Union Regional Council allowed that cattle killed by mad cows could be left in the fields, provided that they were located far from settlements. Meanwhile, Portugal strictly enforces these regulations. And since then, scientists have noted a "sudden drop" in visits by griffons (Gyps fulvus) and black vultures (Aegypius monachus) across the border into Portugal. Their study determined that this was most likely related to the low availability of carcasses in Portugal, not to other causes such as climate or geographical constraints.

Olive Whistler
Adult birds are about 18–20 cm (7–8 in) long, and have total olive brown plumage with a striped white throat. To the unnoticed eye, they could be mistaken for a woman's golden whistle. The male has a dark gray head, pale gray chest and red rump. The female does not have a red tinge, and has a brown underside. The legs, beak and eyes of both sexes are brown-black. The melodious call has been likened to I'll wet you or you're fussy, and is perhaps the most musical of all whistles.

Australian King Parrot
Alisterus amboinensis (Linnaeus, 1766) The parrot-raja Ambon (Alisterus amboinensis), is a parrot endemic to the islands of Paleng, Maluku and West Papua in Indonesia. Sometimes, this bird is referred to as Nuri-raja Ambon or Nuri-raja Amboina, but these designations are misleading, because this bird is also found on many other islands besides Ambon. Males and females are similar in appearance, with the head and upper body predominantly red, wings green (blue in one subspecies), and blue back and tail. Six subspecies are recognized, but only a few of these are common in aviculture. In the wild, this bird inhabits rainforests and feeds on fruits, seeds and buds.

Pink Robin _ Petroica rodinogaster
The pink robin (Petroica rodinogaster) is a small passerine native to southeastern Australia. Its natural habitat is the cool climate forests of southeastern Australia. Like many brightly colored robins of the family Petroicidae, it is sexually dimorphic. At 13.5 cm (5.3 in) long, the robin has a small, thin, black beak and dark brown eyes and feet. The male has a distinctive white spot on the forehead and pink chest, with a gray-black top, wings and tail. Her belly is white. The female has gray-brown fur. the position of the pink robin and its Australian relatives on the passerine family tree is unclear; Petroicidae is not closely related to the European or American robin, but is a branch of the songbird group Passerida.

The woodpecker is making a nest
Woodpeckers are birds of the order Piciformes. Found worldwide and includes a number of species, usually numbering 218 (including the Ivory-billed Woodpecker). Some woodpeckers in the order Piciformes have zygodactile feet, with 2 toes pointing forward and 2 backwards. The legs, while adapted for gripping on vertical surfaces, can be used for grasping or perching. Some species only have 3 toes. The long tongue found in some woodpeckers can be stuck out to catch insects. The woodpecker gets its name from the habit of some of its species tapping and pecking tree trunks with their beaks. It is a means of communicating territorial ownership by signaling to rivals, and a means of searching for and finding insect larvae under bark or long winding tunnels in trees. At first, woodpeckers search for tunnels by tapping the trunk. Once the tunnel was found, the woodpecker carved the wood until it created an opening into the tunnel. Then stuck his tongue into the tunnel to try to find the grubs. The woodpecker's tongue is long and hooked. With its tongue the woodpecker pierces the grubs and pulls them out of the stem. Woodpeckers also use their beaks to make larger holes for their nests about 15-45 cm (6-18 in) below the exposed surface. The nests are lined only with wood chips and contain 2-8 white eggs that the female lays out. Because out of sight, the nest is invisible to predators and the eggs don't need to be camouflaged. Cavities created by woodpeckers are also reused as nests by other birds, such as some ducks and owls, and mammals, such as tree squirrels.

The robin chirping on the branch
For those of you who want to know the original habitat of the Robin Bird in the wild and also the place where birds often make their nests, on this occasion I will provide a complete review for you. The robin is also known as the Red Billed Leiothrix, Japanese Nightingale, Japanese (Hill), Pekin Robin and Pekin Nightingale. or the designation of its Latin name Leiothrix luteaini is a type of bird that has a small body size where its body size is approximately 6 to 7 cm from the tip of the beak to the tip of the tail. This robin is also a type of chirping bird that was popular in the 90s. this is because the robin can get the day of the chirping mania in terms of the sound of the chirping and also the color of the feathers it has. This type of chirping bird is indeed very known to be very agile, aggressive and also chatty, therefore at the time of its popularity there is almost always someone who keeps in every house the chirping mania.

mother stork is feeding
Stork is the name for a bird from the Ciconiidae family. The body is large, has long legs, has a long neck but is shorter than the egret, and has a large, strong and thick beak. Storks can be found in warm climates. Habitat in drier areas than egrets and ibises. Food consists of frogs, fish, insects, worms, small birds and small mammals from wetlands and beaches. The stork does not have a syrinx, so it doesn't make a sound. Beak that is pitted against its partner is a way of communicating instead of voice calls. The stork is a migratory shorebird, flying long distances by hovering using hot air currents so it can save energy. A photograph of a crane in flight by Ottomar Anschütz (1884) inspired Otto Lilienthal to create a glider used for kite flying in the late 19th century. The stork is a heavy bird with a wide wingspan. The African species Leptoptilos crumeniferus has a wingspan of 3.2 meters, so it has been dubbed "the land bird with the longest wingspan in the world" in competition with the Condor of the Andes Mountains. Nests are used for several years, are very large, up to 2 meters in diameter. and a nest depth of 3 meters. The stork was once thought to be monogamous, but that's not always true. Storks tend to be loyal to the nest and to their mates, but may also change partners after migration or go migrating unaccompanied by their mates. The large body, monogamous nature, and loyalty to the nesting place make the crane often used as a symbol of happiness in many cultures and myths.

crows feeding their young
Almost all of these birds are relatively large and have a dominant black feather color. The distribution area is throughout the continents and islands, with the exception of South America. Among the types of birds, crows are known to have the highest level of intelligence among birds.[1] This quality has long been known to humans, especially in his skill in stealing various human aids. These animals have the ability to learn and can solve problems by utilizing the resources around them. In some cultures and mythology, the crow is often associated with something bad. In Europe, the crow is believed to be a witch's pet bird. In Indonesia, crows are considered to be a sign of distress. There is also a belief that links the crow's satay to call genderuwo. owl on the tree
Owls are a group of birds that are members of the order Strigiformes. This bird belongs to the class of birds of prey (carnivores, meat eaters) and is a night animal (nocturnal). In all, there are about 222 known species, which are distributed worldwide except Antarctica, most of Greenland, and some remote islands. In the western world, this animal is considered a symbol of wisdom, but in some places in Indonesia it is considered a bearer of a harbinger of death, hence the name Owl. Even so, not everywhere in the archipelago this bird is called an owl. In Java, for example, the name of this bird is darès or manuk darès which has no connotation with death or ghosts. In North Sulawesi, owls are known as Manguni. Owls are known for their large, forward-facing eyes, unlike most other types of birds whose eyes are turned sideways. Together with a sharply bent beak like an eagle's beak and the arrangement of feathers on the head that forms a circular face, the appearance of this owl's "face" is impressive and sometimes scary. Moreover, this bird's neck is so flexible that its face can rotate 180 degrees backwards. Generally, owls are mottled, brownish or gray with black and white spots. Combined with the behavior that often freezes and doesn't move much, this bird is not easily seen; as well as when sleeping during the day under the cover of the leaves. The owl's tail is generally short, but the wings are large and broad. Its wingspan reaches about three times its body length.
