Stand Up For Idaho: Idaho's Weekly Town Hall

Roland ‘Ed’ Angle initially came to Stand Up For Idaho in February 2023. He will be here again on September 18 & 25th to give us his updated presentations on what happened on September 11, 2001. The September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center high-rise towers changed the world, and there has been much speculation and controversy on what really happened. Roland “Ed” Angle from Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth will present two presentations explaining the collapse of the three high-rise towers. The first presentation, September 18th, will focus on World Trade Center Building 7, a 47-story steel framed high rise that collapsed in seven seconds, straight down into its own footprint, on the afternoon of September 11, 2001. It was not struck by an airplane. The second presentation, September 25th, will focus on World Trade Center Buildings 1 & 2, the Twin Towers that collapsed on the morning of September 11, 2001, after being struck by airplanes. Ed is a retired Professional Civil Engineer with more than 50 years of engineering experience. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and currently sits on the board of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, a non-profit corporation that has been investigating the collapse of the three World Trade Center towers on 9/11 since 2006. The information he will be presenting has been compiled by hundreds of engineers and scientists during the last 17 years.

The Bonneville County Democrat Central Committee, the Bonneville County Republican Central Committee, and Stand Up For Idaho are cosponsoring a debate between Barbara Ehardt (R) and Miranda Marquit (D). Barbara and Miranda are vying for your vote in November 5th for the position of Idaho House of Representatives District 33A.

Bill Ayzin is well known as the owner of Wealth of Health Natural Market in Idaho Falls, and Andrea works with Bill at Wealth of Health. However, what many people don’t know is that Bill was born in the Soviet Union in 1963 and emigrated legally to the U.S. in 1979 as a refugee, and Andrea was born and raised in Venezuela. Bill and Andrea both grew up in socialism/communism and have seen the same thing as what we are dealing with right now, and they have a few things to warn us about.

Paul Isom is one of the founders of “We the People–A Private Membership Association”. The purpose of this organization is to lawfully reorganize lives and businesses in harmony with the U.S. Constitution and help people understand and defend against unlawful laws. He will present his views and provide information on his experiences in this area. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of Paul and learn more on the subject.

Roger Christensen has been a Bonneville County Commissioner for nearly 30 years. Roger will discuss the responsibilities of a county commissioner and specifically address the state of Bonneville County today. There will be a question and answer period following his presentation.

In early 2007, a diverse group of water users from throughout Eastern Idaho began conducting informal meetings to discuss water rights and use of water in Eastern Idaho. The group recognized that in order to achieve maximum political influence that all stakeholders interested in water issues needed to be involved. Thus the Eastern Idaho Water Rights Coalition was born, consisting of cities, developers, canal companies, irrigation districts, and groundwater districts. Keith Esplin and Roger Warner, executive officers of the Coalition, will address the community and answer questions about the water situation in Idaho

Nick Contos, former Bonneville County GOP chairman, will address the topic of Ranked Choice Voting, described by some as “Open Primaries”. Since this is an initiative that we will see on the ballot in November, it is very important that we all understand what this is all about.

Ron came to Stand Up For Idaho on July 10th and only covered part of what he intended, so he is coming back with ‘Part 2’ of his presentation. Ron Carlson has dealt with water issues in the Snake River for over 30 years including being Watermaster of Snake River Water District 1, the largest Water District in the United States. The Water District 1 Watermaster distributes all of the water diverted from the river and it’s tributaries above Milner Dam. Ron is know as the ‘expert’ in Idaho water law and in surface water use and distribution, and was awarded the ‘Idaho Water Users Hall of Fame’ and the ‘Agricultural Hall of Fame’. This is a continuing effort to help us understand the ‘water wars’ occurring in Idaho and what we can do about them.

Marynette Herndon is working with the company AquaterreX. She will present some of the company’s capabilities that may able to identify an untapped source of water that could help resolve some of the water issues challenging east Idaho. AquaterreX is a global environmental services organization with a mission to broadly implement effective water and food security solutions, and is a member of the US National Ground Water Association. The company employs multicomponent geospatial analysis with proprietary algorithms combined with patented instrumentation to locate water. Over 1500 wells on four continents have been located using this technology. This is a continuing effort to help us understand the ‘water wars’ occurring in Idaho and what we can do about them.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, of which Ed is Board Chairman, are endeavoring to expose what really happened on September 11, 2001. The engineering profession has been used to cover up the truth regarding the destruction of the three WTC buildings in New York City. The presentation will describe the process by which this colossal fraud has been foisted off on the public by using the leading engineering organizations to construct a false narrative that does not stand up to scientific inquiry. The details of this process will be clearly described and explained.

Many of us are just becoming aware of the ‘water wars’ that are occurring in Idaho, especially east Idaho. The Conquest of the Snake is a documentary film about Southern Idaho’s Magic Valley, the Snake River, and how a group of determined people transformed the arid desert into an agricultural powerhouse. This documentary is a start in helping us understand some of the water issues Idaho is facing. Donald Trump and Joe Biden are not the only ones running to be the President of the United States. Joel Skousen, a renowned speaker on the Republic and the Constitution, is also running for President as a ‘Constitution Party’ candidate. Joel will discuss his candidacy, the Trump trials, and the Deep State.

Water wars in east Idaho? What in the world is going on with the water in east Idaho? Water to farms being shut off, threatening hundreds of thousands of acres of crops and jeopardizing the entire economy of east Idaho? Trever Belnap (General Manager of Ball Brothers Produce) and Andrew Mickelsen of Mickelsen Farms will be at Stand Up For Idaho’s weekly Town Hall on June 19th to discuss what’s happening with the water. This is definitely a ‘must attend’ Town Hall for all of us to understand what’s happening and how it will affect us!

The Amplifying Young Voices organization is dedicated to speaking out to fortify the family, shore up the individual, and uploading life. Several members will be speaking to the SUFI community. Those speaking and their topics will be: Amando Aragon, father of 2 and has been married for 7 years. He is currently a Marriage and Family Studies Major at BYU-Idaho and is very passionate about supporting families in their efforts toward healthy interactions and practices. His topic is “Family Solutions to Social Problems”. Erica Battezzato is about to get her Bachelor’s in Marriage and Family Studies at BYUI. She is very passionate about strengthening individuals, children, and families to create communities that thrive. Youth have immense potential and she wants to inspire them to understand who they truly are. Her topic is, “Digital Resilience in Family Systems: Fortifying Bonds in a Dynamic Online World”. Kallie Kerr will finish up her degree in Marriage and Family Studies this fall at BYU-Idaho. She has seen the harm unhealthy communication can do and the healing that love and healthy communication provides, which is what she hopes to inspire in everyone she meets and teaches. Her topic is, “Bringing Civility and Decency Back to Civic Dialogue”.

Do you really understand the three branches of government and what their powers, and limitations, are? How does the ‘Judicial’ branch work? Judge Ryan Nelson, a Trump nominated judge, will be here to address these questions and more. This is definitely a ‘must attend’ Town Hall, especially with all the ‘lawfare’ that is occurring today. Judge Ryan Nelson was confirmed to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in October, 2018. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Nelson served as general counsel of Melaleuca, Inc. He previously served as special counsel to the Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, as a law clerk to the Senate Legal Counsel, as deputy general counsel to the White House Office of Management and Budget, and as deputy assistant attorney general in the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Earlier in his career, Judge Nelson was an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Sidley Austin.

Dustin Barron, Bonneville County Assessor, will be giving a presentation on the property assessment process. This will be of great interest to all of the property owners in Bonneville County who want to know how the values of your properties are determined which results in the property tax that you pay. Mr. Barron will answer questions after his presentation.

Weekly Town Hall – An open discussion will provide the community an opportunity to address the results of the election of May 21st.

Republican candidates running for the State of Idaho Legislator from District 35 will address the community. Each will have five minutes to introduce themselves and make a presentation. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session. Those invited to speak are Kevin Andrus, currently serving as Position A Representative, Joshua Wheeler, currently serving as Position B Representative, Brett Skidmore as candidate for Position B Representative; and Mark Harris, currently serving as Senator, and Doug Toomer as candidate for Senator. After the primary elections, Democratic candidates will be invited to attend a town hall event.

Republican candidates running for the State of Idaho Legislator from District 33 will address the community. Each will have five minutes to introduce themselves and make a presentation. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session. Those invited to speak are Barbara Ehardt, currently serving as Position A Representative, Marko Erickson, currently serving as Position B Representative, Jilene Burger as candidate for Position B Representative; and Dave Lent, currently serving as Senator, and Bryan Scholz as candidate for Senator. After the primary elections the Democratic candidates will be invited to speak at a town hall event.

Dr. Anthony Harper is a White House and State Department news correspondent for the InterMountain Christian News and Newsrael, and has been reporting on Human Rights issues at the White House since 2011. He will be at this special Stand Up For Idaho event to discuss his view of what is happening in America, and will be speaking to contrast the transparency issues of the press and White House during three different administrations of Presidents Obama, Trump and Biden. Dr. Harper holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from California Coast University, a Master of Education in General Guidance and Counseling from The College of Idaho and a B.A. degree in Liberal Studies from The University of The State of New York. He is listed in the Second Edition (1999/2000 issue) of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare.

Republican candidates running for the United States House of Representative will address the community. Each will have seven minutes to introduce themselves and make a presentation. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session. Those invited to speak are Mike Simpson, currently serving as Representative from District 2, Scott Cleveland, and Sean Higgins as Republican candidates for Representative. After the primary election, candidates from the other parties will be invited to address the community at another town hall.

Candidates running for the State of Idaho Legislator from District 32 will address the community. Each will have five minutes to introduce themselves and make a presentation. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session. Those invited to speak are Stephanie Mickelsen, currently serving as Position A Representative, Kelly Golden and Sean Crystal as candidates for Position A Representative; Wendy Horman, currently serving as Position B Representative, Patricia Stanger, Sean Coletti, and Bryan Smith as candidates for Position B Representative; and Kevin Cook, currently serving as Senator, and Keith Newberry as candidate for Senator.

Weekly Town Hall – The Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney, Randy Neal, and another running for the office, John Malek, will be addressing the community and answering questions posed by those in attendance. Following their presentations and a Q&A session, we will have the only candidate running for Bonneville County commissioner from District 1, Karl Casperson, speak to us and answer questions. Please come and meet those who are running for these offices, each of which are critically important to the county.
