W&R The Caves of Cabarete - Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

Located just five minutes from Cabarete Beach is El Choco National Park. Hiking trails through the jungle, caves, underground lakes and rivers, plus the ruins of the infamous "Jungle Johns'". Due to the potentially dangerous conditions (i.e. falling into a cave 🤣 ) you are required to hire a guide to access the park. A Guide will cost you 1,000 pesos per person but part of that fee goes towards the park entry stamp. Make sure to tip your guide if you enjoy the tour.

The park is located in Cabarete at the end of the Callejon aka the stop light in front of Ocean Dream / Roma's Italian restaurant. Turn down that road and go down to the very end. The welcome center will be on your right side and a small lagoon on your left. Parking is available next to the office.
