Combined Urban Tactics - ADF and U.S. Marines Integrated Urban Clearance - Talisman Sabre 21

July 27, 2021 - U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force Darwin 21.2, and Australian Army Soldiers with Battle Group Eagle work together during a combined urban clearance during Exercise Talisman Sabre 21 in Townsville Field Training Area, Queensland, Australia. TS21 is a large-scale, bilateral military exercise conducted biennially across Northern Australia designed to enhance the U.S.-Australia alliance which is an anchor of peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific. Exercises like this provide effective and intense training to ensure the forces are capable, interoperable, responsive, and combat-ready.
