1st CAB Soldiers Take to the Sky for the First Time in an AH-64 Apache Helicopter

July 22, 2021 - U.S. Army Soldiers from 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade flew in an AH-64 Apache helicopter for the first time during incentive flights at Illesheim Army Airfield, Germany. The selected Soldiers were chosen for the flights as recognition for their hard work in maintaining the helicopters. The 1st CAB is deployed to Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve. Atlantic Resolve provides ready and postured, combat-credible forces through multinational training and security cooperation activities.
