HDMI Splitters vs HDCP Copy Protection!

On NY discussion forums, folks say that you can use HDMI splitters to "strip" the HDCP coding from an HDMI signal. I put that to the test using 2 sources of copyrighted content, 3 HDMI splitters, and 2 HDCP compliant capture devices.
