Episode 96: WCW Spring Stampede 1997 (DDP vs. Macho Man)

It was the night the "Macho Man" Randy Savage said, "I think I want to take the Diamond Cutter tonight!" And take it, he did! This is the match that made people look at Diamond Dallas Page as a bonified main eventer. Also on this card, we see Booker T & Stevie Ray (who were a team at the time) taking on The Giant & Lex Luger (who were a team at the time) in a Four Corners match. Yeah...only 1 winner, and it's every man for himself. Booker hilariously drops the N-word in his promo about Hulk Hogan. We also open the card with Rey Mysterio, Jr. taking on Ultimo Dragon, Akira Hokuto faces Madusa for the WCW Ladies Title, the Public Enemy faces the odd team of Jeff Jarrett and Steve "Mongo" McMichael, both Kevin Nash and Rick Steiner lose their partners and have to go one-on-one for the Tag Titles, and much more!
