I'm Peter Serefine, and this is the Liberty Minute for Tuesday, day 753 of "15 days to flatten the curve."
All of the places in the US that have legalized marijuana have seen a rise in addiction dependency, homelessness, and youth addiction, so the House just passed a bill to make marijuana legal at the federal level. Yup that sounds like the general welfare Congress should be concerned about. Look, I don't care about marijuana either way, but there are real problems Congress could work on. Instead, they are working on legalizing something to help you forget those problems.
The Biden administration has created The Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy. That means more bureaucracy and more federal employees, making our already massive federal government even bigger.
As predictable as the sunrise, Biden used the Sacramento shooting to call for more gun control.
I'm off to jury duty. Hopefully, I won't be sequestered, and I will be back in time for tomorrow's Liberty Minute.
Until tomorrow, si vis Pacem, Para Bellum.
