The Mayor remembers when Weird Al and Dr. Demento used to hang out on Sunset Boulevard but in this case, Weird Al leads off today's Segue City Special and then it runs into After The Fire warning about the Russians and the 1980's... The Mayor is sad of how debased the English language has become in this country and how so few people even know how to use the word "specificity" correctly...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
