Braving the Wind at Glacier National Park Two Medicine Lake ~ Hike to Scenic Point

Hey there. I spent an afternoon hiking to Two Medicine and Scenic Point in Glacier National park to do some sunrise photography. I loved taking Drone Video with my Mavic Air 2 from outside the park to get some drone video. You will see some of my drone reel from Glacier in this video.

Joelle and I, while visiting Glacier National Park in September, wanted to get some sunrise photography over Two Medicine Lake. Two Medicine Lake offers one of the most epic spots to do a little sunrise photography inside the national park itself.

At Two Medicine, you are going to find a number of GREAT trails to hike for the day. This portion of Glacier is on the very east side of the park, accessible via Going to the Sun Road or, if that is close, around the bottom of the park via Highway 2 assuming you are coming from the west and driving east.

While it was supremely windy, we still achieved a few very nice photographs all things considered and certainly enjoyed the hike to the top of Scenic Point. It was a really tough hike up the mountain side, but it was a good one. If it weren't so windy, I suspect it would have been more enjoyable. But for our day, the wind sent us scurrying back down the mountain. I hope you enjoy the scenery.
