Frustration is growing in China’s largest city of Shanghai, where residents are living under a sweeping new COVID-19 lockdown.

Two years ago the world watched China impose lockdowns with bated breath, anxious to see if this country would be able to control this new coronavirus.

When it comes to Canada’s own COVID-19 pandemic, “we’re in a very different stage of the pandemic,” says Dr. Isaac Bogoch

Cases are rising here in Canada as well, but as Heather Yourex-West shows us, the sixth wave here isn’t likely to see broad public health restrictions re-imposed.
