When symptoms of seizures disappeared, Kevin Hines’ family stopped his medication, unaware the medication was also suppressing symptoms of Bipolar disorder. As depression and paranoia grew over the next three years, Kevin would ultimately attempt to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Cracking several vertebrates rather than breaking his spine, Kevin attributes God's provision of providing a sea lion to keep him afloat until the coast guard rescued him.
