LET'S TALK SHANG CHI (Did It Live Up To The Hype??) via THE FUNG BROS | EP 124

A few months back the Fung Bros discussed the impact that Shang Chi may or may not deliver. Now that this movie is out, I revisit some of those questions plus throw in my thoughts and what or should happen next. One of the bigger questions is that would this movie be a cultural phenomenon like Black Panther was for the Black community. Through personal observation, no. But! That's not a bad thing. I suspect because this movie is center around East Asian mythology it hard to bring in the vast Asian/Asian American cultures. Overall, it still did an excellent job hit all the aspects from humor to action. And it did show you can cast a Asian male for a main lead.
