Jacques Attali And Future Plans--True Attribution Or A Fabrication?

Mentions "A Brief History Of The Future" but no mention of "Verbatim" which was the referenced work written in 1981. As of this posting, I cannot find a copy of "Verbatim" in English. One fact checking site details the contents of this video and attempts to debunk the attribution to Attali:
https://mythdetector.ge/en/what-is-written-in-jacques-attali-s-book-verbatim-and-who-fabricated-french-politician-s-quote/

This debunking page made reference to one of Attali's books "The Future Of Life" where it stated:

"The book contains several fragments, where Attali talks about people aged 60-65, noting that in the very logic of industrial society, the objective will no longer be to extend life expectancy, but to ensure that within a specific lifespan, people live as well as possible but in such a way that health expenses will be as low as possible in terms of costs for the community."

There may be false attribution, but Attali is a leftist, he writes about utopian transformation, transhumanism, and euthanasia. Does the apple fall far from the tree?
