Vernon Solomon & Scott Myers - fiddle breakdowns

This is an audio demo of several tracks I recorded with Vernon in 1988.

I released "Old Joe Clark" in 2012. As the recording engineer, the other musician, the producer and manager of the publication and distribution of the recordings, I'm very pleased we were able to do this. He had been working overtime for months and rarely had a chance to play anymore, let alone record, in a long time. Vernon and I and our two families have been close friends since the 1960s. Vernon was the first Grand Master Fiddling Championship winner in 1972 (https://www.grandmasterfiddler.com/past-winners/). It was a great loss when Vernon passed away in 1991. It was an honor and a pleasure to have been able to make these recordings with my great friend, only knowing later they would be his last.

As I have time, I continue working on the other tracks and hope to have more ready to release soon. "Old Joe Clark" is available to download or stream practically anywhere you find music online.
