On Tuesday, March 29, heavy rain hit the mountain town of Setenil de las Bodegas in the Spanish province of Cadiz.
The storm, which lasted only 20 minutes, caused severe flooding and damage to the city.
After the rain, a stream of water descended from the highlands and poured into the city.
Streets, houses and garages were flooded, many cars got stuck in the water.
Rescue services and firefighters from nearby cities arrived to help local residents.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
The geographical position of the city explains the cause of severe floods.
The city structure is built into a gorge formed by the Trejo River, which flows through the city, and the slope contributes to flooding caused by its overflow.
