THE ABBEY OF THE LEMUR-Lemur Follies

(2004) First "Abbey" of the year....features the various cast members doing everything ranging from poetry to political commentary to very off-color jokes in the Lemurs' inimitably schizophrenic fashion. Jet Black and Cat Fury were officially made cast members as of this episode....the two, by that point, had broken up very badly, beginning the overall fragmentation of the VDA Mafia. Fury became very dialed out at that point and was probably not even aware that she'd been made a full cast member. I always loved being able to display her abundance of talent and wild intellect but you really can't make someone stay where they don't want to stay. "Lemur Follies" was edited on the highly problematic Screenplay editor, which created a lot of weird audio sync issues that I could never seem to iron out, however hard I fought it. Ironically, with the whole VHS-to-digital process, wherein I'm frequently needing to tweak the audio syncing, the episode came out clean as a whistle, audio sync damn nigh perfect! So now, for the first time ever, "Lemur Follies", NOT looking like a poorly dubbed foreign video! Enjoy!
