Those struggling to pay their rent due to the pandemic are getting a little more help. A bill passed extending eviction protections until June 30th for anyone who has applied for financial assistance. Meanwhile, the deadline to apply to the state’s COVID-19 rent relief program just passed. However, Kern County residents can still get help.
