US House panel sets hearing to press for electric postal vehicles

WASHINGTON – A US House of Representatives committee said on Wednesday that it will hold a hearing on the US Postal Service's (USPS) plans to purchase electric vehicles on April 5. Lawmakers are expected to press for the purchase of many more zero-emission delivery trucks at the hearing.
