MATLACHA, FL (so colorful!) & Meet Artist Leoma Lovegrove! 🎨

Matlacha must be the most colorful village in all of Florida. Having started out as a fishing village, Matlacha is nestled on Florida’s Gulf Coast between Pine Island and Fort Myers. The island is surrounded by water, making it a great place to go kayaking. There are lots of artists that call this area home, with art studios lining the main street, as well as cute shops and restaurants. On our trip, we visited Leoma Lovegrove’s art studio, and even got to meet this internationally known artist in person! You don’t want to miss her colorful story.
