Why We Learn From Tribulation

The truth that tribulation brings you closer to God has been put to the test in my person over the las few weeks. And while some may argue to the validity of this truth, I am truly glad It has been a reality to my personal life. For while I have preached hundreds of times on the subject, and often in the past as I did I looked around, congregation after congregation and I always saw the same thing, and thought the same thing, thanks God for Jesus, and for the grace and mercy of God, because had it not been by it, most of those sitting in those benches would be bound to hell, for they look so totally disconnected from the reality of the gospel and so far away from God, that I wondered many times whether any of them was really saved.
