Part 3 of our discussion on the history of the real Bald Knobbers continues in Christian County, with another group inspired by the Taney County Bald Knobbers. Christian county members are the more notorious group. They were more violent, they hid their identities behind terrifying masks, and didn’t just reserve their wrath for criminals but also went after those who didn’t follow their religious morality. This included attacking bars, which local residents didn’t appreciate. A horrible home invasion of the Edens family cabin and the execution of William Edens and Charles Green is the focus of this video.
