Fantastic Native American War Horse Design
Obverse: The obverse features the symbol of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Nation. These are the people of Crazy Horse, Red Cloud, Short Bull, and Black Elk. They live on the Pine Ridge Reservation which encompasses Wounded Knee Creek, the site of the historic 1890 massacre.

Reverse: The reverse depicts a highly stylized depiction of a Native American War horse. War horses are important to Native Americans. The horses symbolize survival, wealth and power. The sacred act of painting a horse for battle or a hunt is believed to make both horse and rider more powerful.
