Project Sunflower Underway To Help Ukrainians Come To Canada - March 30, 2022 - Micah Quinn

A local grassroots organization called Project Sunflower is hoping to help Ukrainians who are coming to Lethbridge and southern Alberta as they flee the ongoing war with Russia. The group helps them obtain visas, secure safe passage, and obtain work permits once they arrive in Canada. Marc Woons, a member of Project Sunflower, says the numbers keep growing for Ukrainian families that will be making their way to our country.

Project Sunflower is also looking for volunteers who can cook meals, give rides or babysit for these families.
