The Night America Trembled (1957) [colourised]

The Night America Trembled is a Studio One production, and is the first televised dramatisation of the chaos that ensued during the radio broadcast of Orson Welles 'War of the Worlds' on the 30th October 1938.

The story is about a Martian invasion of Earth, and viewers tuning in to the broadcast part of the way through and believing there was a real invasion.
