Badly formulated company goals can have a deadly effect if not corrected. Ford built the Pinto to compete with the small imports coming into the United States in the late 60's and early 70's. The Pinto turned out to be a death trap when being hit in the rear. This video is the story of how it came to be and the blundering response by Ford.
