Maria has been many things in her life but knows there is no calling more important than that of “Mom.”
After raising and homeschooling her children for 23 years, Maria found herself in a time of transition. Now a grandmother (Gigi) of two, she began to seek and ask God who she was and what she was to do in this new season in life. She heard God say back to her, “Maria, you’re still the mom.”

And thus, this work was born.
Still the Mom is a Calling to champion women with the heart of the mom – to stand for women, to see them where they are and love and want the best for them. Still the mom is about encouraging women on their journey to healing and wholeness. This is about coming alongside women to stand with them and call out purpose and gifting. This work is about seeing women healed from the pain of their past so that they can joyfully and confidently walk forward into the things that are burning in their heart to do.
Maria married the love of her life, Jeff, in 1989 and they live in Knoxville, Tennessee. Together they have three adult children and two grandchildren. She has served in several different areas of ministry and is Co-Founder of Bethesda Springs House of Mercy and Grace. Maria is an entrepreneur, a former pastor’s daughter, and is “Mom” to many.
