Cave Robber Scum - Fallout 2 E25.5

In this video I find a cave full of robbers, all wielding the most expensive and powerful weapons in the game. Now that I have a reasonable power level I can't pass up this opportunity to upgrade my arsenal and make money completely trivial. The problem is they kill my and my companions in short order on account of the aforementioned weapons and the fact that there are about 20 of them. So I come up with various hit and run strategies, and try slowly luring them to the door while I pick them off one by one. Eventually to make sure I don't use up all my stimpacks and allow them to use all their ammo and healing items before I can loot them, I resort to save/reloading until I get instakill crits. This episode has no story content and the nature of the trial and error approach means the action is often off record, so if you are here to enjoy the story of fallout 2 and not the experience you can skip it, but the rewards were too great to simply pass it up and leave. Also I promise I won't exploit the combat system like this in the future except in extreme cases like everyone in my party dying/there being no other way out. I finally get to use my favorite perk, Improved criticals to its full extent though, and it is glorious.
