Kakiage – Simplified 🧅 🥕 🦐

A quick-and-easy, warm, fried snack ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients:
▢ 1 onion
▢ ½ Carrot
▢ Dried Sakura Ebi
▢ 5 tbs flour
▢ 100 ml cold water
▢ Oil for frying

Directions:
1) Heat oil in pan to 180°C/355°F.
2) Create a batter by mixing cold water and flour.
3) Thinly slice carrot and onion then mix into batter.
4) Add dried shrimp to batter and mix.
5) Fry both sides for 1 and a half to 2 minutes then set on a cooling rack and serve while warm.
