Everdale LIVE Update?! Eroda Top 50 Valley! 17000 Reputation! Level 9 gameplay! 27 Mar 2021! #17
Could today finally be the day of the very long awaited update?! It's been 112 days!
There will be so much to cover if it finally is update day!

When the update turns out to be an update to your eligibility to play the game!

Still really unsure if it will go Global, in it's current state, no way, but if they spend 1-2 more years developing it and significantly improve it, then it could, but that's true of any game, at what point does the length of time needed to improve a game become so long that you could have just developed an entirely new game from scratch that made it to Global.

Recently I joined my original Valley Eroda. Eroda is lead by Sworin. It has 8 of us in it. 6/8 of whom are from the original game Valleys & Villages, all from the 1st top Global Valley, Eroda (that was in Valleys and Villages). So it's a valley with history for sure, with the majority of it, being made up of veteran players.

Tasks I want to get done in a past stream! Always so much to be done, I never run out of things to do!

What does the dog house do?
Absolutely nothing.

Do I lose my reputation points if I change Valley's?
No.

Do Mushrooms and Raspberries grow back?
Yes.

Will the game go global?
Hard to tell. I think it has potential, but I'm skeptical, I think more likely it won't. This game which started under Valleys & Villages has been out for a total of 554 days (18 Sep 2020 - 25 Mar 2022) [Meanwhile Rush Wars was killed in under 100 days. It's been out for 5x as long as Rush Wars], yet it still severely lacking in content & features, with many players having maxed out their bases in a few months. The game still has many bugs that have been around for over a year and still aren't fixed. The game has now gone for 109 days without a single update, meanwhile it appears that most of the top players have quit. The dev team also admitted that as at 6 months ago, they were not actively working on things like a big new feature. Supercell is still actively paying for ads for the game to get new players, I've seen 2 in the last week. I like Everdale, I really do, but having been out for 554 days, still severely lacking content and features, still many bugs that have been in it for over a year and no critically important features or content on the way, I find it very hard to see how this will be released Globally, by meeting Supercell's very strict criteria of games that would be played for years to come in order to go Global. Not even Rush Wars or Hay Day Pop could meet that criteria. There is a chance that with tons of new content that game could become really good, but at the rate they are going, it likely wouldn't be until 2023, or 2024 that had enough content to be released Global. But such a timeframe would have meant that Everdale was in alpha/beta for 3-4 years, which I think it's unlikely Supercell would keep a game alive having to pay all the staff and costs to keep developing it, for 4 years (and that's just under beta, let alone the likely 1-3 years prior to it's Sep 2020 release that they would have been developing it). The longest game in beta that was released Globally, was Brawl Stars, and that was 1.5 years in beta, which I thought was astoundingly long, let alone 3 years. Assuming staff salaries of an average of 1 million euros each, and assuming a team of 10 people, for every year they take to develop Everdale, that would cost at least 10,000,000 Euros every single year to keep it going. So if they took 5 years to release it globally, that would have cost 50,000,000 Euros. That is so much money, that you can make an insanely good movie on that budget. Anyway my point is this, as much as I enjoy it, I'm skeptical that it will be released Globally.
