How to Take Care of a Beard - Gents & Juniors Barber Shop Appreciation Post

Have you ever had one of those mornings where everything is going wrong, but you need to be somewhere?

One morning last week I had a lot of things that needed to get done before the long drive to Fort Mac. One of my kids was being super difficult, the world was falling apart in the news, I nearly bottomed out the vehicle in the parking lot and my brain was trying to tell me all of things that I needed to be doing if I ever wanted to succeed in life. So while my son got an amazing new style from Julie, I sat on the couch petting her dog Dolly and leaked from my eyes.

I’ve been going to Julie at Gents & Juniors for over a year now. I wasn’t my happy bubbly self when I got up for my cut, So Julie gave me a big hug. I had myself pretty deep in my shell, but she got me out of it while she gave me a trim and fixed up my beard. She used Educated Beard’s Bergamot & Grapefruit oil in my Beard. The scent was great and I took note that I’d probably pick it up when I’m running low on the giant econo-bottle that I bought when they first opened.

After Julie made me look amazing, she put a bottle of the Bergamot and Grapefruit beard oil in my palm, gave me another hug and sent me on my way. I tried to tell her that she couldn’t because I wanted to help support her, but I couldn't really talk from tears.

I guess I’m trying to say that she’s good shit and you should go buy your beard products there and consider making it your new go-to barber shop.
