Christmas Parade in Salmon, Idaho! Bringing in the Christmas Season Right - The Small Town Way!

The day after Thanksgiving has a different meaning for everyone.

Some spend it shopping all day. Others are still sleeping off too much turkey dinner. Some spend it watching sports.

And then there's Salmon. A small, secluded town in south-eastern Idaho with a population of about 3,000 residents. It's tucked away in the Rocky Mountains and is one of the most gorgeous settings in the world!

And they LOVE Christmas!

So every year, on the evening following Thanksgiving, they kick off the Christmas season by coming out and celebrating with their friends, family and neighbors with a parade! And it's AWESOME!

Are the floats covered with roses, or take 20 guys to hold them down, or sponsored by multi-million dollar corporations?

No, No and No.

But no one cares.

They are there to welcome the season, enjoy each other and most importantly, celebrate the true meaning of Christmas - CHRIST!
