Assault Helicopter Battalion Conducts Aerial Gunnery Exercise in Bulgaria

August 2, 2021 - Soldiers assigned to 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, conducted aerial gunnery exercises at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria from Aug. 5-9, 2021. The Soldiers were tasked with shooting a M240H out of a UH-60 Black Hawk in accordance with the team qualification tables. This training operation builds combat readiness in our Soldiers and deters foreign adversaries and aggression.
