U.S. Marine Corps CBRN Defense Specialists Conduct a Training Exercise

December 2, 2021 - U.S. Marine Corps chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense specialists with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a training exercise in Combat Town, Okinawa, Japan. The training exercise consisted of Marines responding accordingly to different biological and chemical attacks. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
