Another Successful Calgary Freedom Rally March 26th 2022

It was another successful, high-energy freedom rally today in Calgary!

The rally was moved to the provincial Courthouse Park after CPS indicated that the vaguely-worded March 18 injunction also applied to Olympic Plaza and that they would arrest anyone using amplified sound there.

Hundreds of people walked to the courthouse together down Stephen Ave, where the rally continued peacefully without incident. CPS did, however, pull over and ticket several drivers back at city hall for honking their horns in support of the people standing on the sidewalk there after returning from the rally.

John Carpay from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms spoke at the rally and announced that the JCCF would be representing citizens mounting a legal challenge to the injunction, which is being used as a political weapon by city hall to hinder the constitutional right of Canadians to peacefully gather and protest government mandates.

The rally will continue next Saturday at Calgary City Hall.
