We spend most of our time on average width shoes or boots. Over time this keeps the toes squished together and our toes and feet lose their mobility and spread. This can be a large cause to foot pain while walking or running.

It also can be responsible for plantar fasciitis, knee pain, running form problems, extensor tendinitis,and a weak arch

This exercise works better then toe spreaders because it works your toes through a full range of motion instead of passively stretching them
