The Mediterranean Diet Series For Beginners: 365 Quick And Simple Recipes To Stay Energetic And Fit Without Giving Up Delicious Dishes.

Ingredients:
Tahini, lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
3 peeled and crushed garlic cloves
15 ounces drained garbanzo beans (reserve liquid)
1 ½ tbsp. minced lemon peel
1 tbsp. minced orange peel
Sea salt
White pepper

Directions:
1. Combine sesame seeds, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, garbanzo
beans (reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish), lemon juice, and
tahini in a food processor.
2. Keep adding the garbanzo bean liquid only if it is necessary
until desired consistency.
3. Season hummus with sea salt and pepper and garnish with the
reserved beans. Sprinkle with lemon and orange peel.
Refrigerate until chilled.
