Early spring, panfish such as blue gills, sunfish and my personal favourite, Crappies, come into shallow water, in search for the first warm water. They will find appealing areas for them to spawn and then move on, back out to the lakes or deeper water of ponds. The window of opportunity may be short, so make sure to seek out these early spring locations while you can!
