Some solar cooking and some chat about minimum wage

Trying to live on minimum wage, I truly suffered, and at times, I felt like I was desperate when I was a young man with no other options but to rely on my own ability to keep a roof over my head. I rode a bicycle to two jobs at minimum wage and was still just barely able to pay rent and have electricity. I ate a lot of rice and beans, not because I liked rice and beans, but because that's all I could afford. Living on minimum wage is a desperate, and scary life. It's a life of hunger and deprivation. I will always support any bill or politician that wants a much higher minimum wage. No one should be subjected to the dehumanization and humiliation that comes with a minimum wage job. It's real easy to sit in a comfortable home with enough money to meet your basic needs and ridicule those who are working for enslavement level of incomes while living in poverty and fear.
