ATF LEAK: Secret Solvent Trap Regulations Exposed

The anti-gun bureaucrats at the ATF are at it again. On Friday, 20 Senators sent a letter to AG Garland and the ATF demanding accountability for their pattern of secret regulations and attempts to criminalize gun owners for possessing LEGAL firearm accessories, like certain triggers or solvent traps. Using secret guidance to confiscate certain firearm accessories or criminalize legal gun owners constitutes an un-American infringement by the ATF, and GOA was glad to work with our 2A warriors in the Senate to call them out. In this episode of Minute Man Moment, Phil talks about the letter senators sent using GOA leaks and what we can expect to happen next.

Specifically, he talks about the ATF's desire to criminalize solvent traps by mislabeling them as suppressors. People use suppressors to take the edge off of noise, be a polite neighbor, and generally avoid hearing damage. Apparently, in the eyes of the ATF, this makes them criminals. Not only is the ATF attempting to penalize law-abiding Americans with these new regulations, they are also doing it in secret. None of this would have been public unless GOA got our hands on secret bulletins, meaning that gun owners would have been expected to comply with these regulations without even knowing about them.
