Roman Catholic & Eastern Orthodox are NOT the same Church. (23 March 2022)

Totally off topic, but realize that this could be a common misconception in the Bible Belt, where there are few Church’s that are not Protestant. We likely are only familiar with Church’s in our town, or that our friends and family attend.
The Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church are completely different.
The Eastern Orthodox Church formally broke from the Roman Catholic Church in the year 1054.
Martin Luther began the Protestant Reformation in the year 1517.
So EO broke from RC approx 500 years+ before any Protestant Religion did. RC and EO are not the same.
