Notebook Wedding | The house that Noah built for Allie - Charleston, SC

When we were first contacted by the (bride) Mary bea to film her wedding day in Charleston we assumed it would be one of the many well-known venues. Not long into the conversation, she explained that not even her guests knew yet where her wedding was taking place, this definitely sparked our interest. She then proceeded to tell us that it would be taking place at the House from the movie The Notebook. We assumed this meant Allie's family's house from the film which is located at the well-known wedding venue "Boon Hall" which we had been filming at for years. She said this was not the case though and it would be taking place at the house that Noah purchased and restored for Allie. That alone was cool enough but to then find out that it is a private residence and has never been used for a wedding and would never again really made things exciting! With the ceremony in the front yard and reception under tent out back, it was a beautiful day!
