Neil W. McCabe, the national political editor of The Star News Network, interviewed Georgia GOP House hopeful Mike Collins about his primary fight in Georgia's 10th Congressional District.

Collins said he decided to run for the seat that became vacant when Rep. Jody B. Hice, while traveling to Ohio for a speech. In the speech, the trucker entrepreneur encouraged people in the audience to get involved in the political process, and maybe even run for office. On the flight home, Collins realized he should take up the same challenge he was giving to others.

The House hopeful said President Donald J. Trump paved the way for businessmen, like himself and others, to get involved in politics, even if it meant putting aside their business and personal interests.

The man, who started Collins Trucking more than 30 years ago, said his policies are Trump's policies, and he wants to bring back the economy America had when Trump was in the White House, which he said was humming like a sewing machine.
