香港少數現存的大型粵劇表演場地。
現在已經很難找到同類型的戲院了。

Kiu Fai Building, 423 King's Road, North Point, Hong Kong Island, opened in 1972,
It is one of the few existing large-scale Cantonese opera performance venues in Hong Kong.
It's hard to find a theater of the same type these days.

香港新光戲院是一間歷史悠久的戲院，位於香港北角英皇道僑輝大厦，成立1972年。開業初期，是由「華昌企業有限公司」委托「銀都娛樂有限公司」經營管理，後於1980年9月1日起轉為以霍英東先生任董事長之「新光娛樂有限公司」經營；並再於1988年8月開始，轉為以袁耀鴻先生任董事長之「香港聯藝機構有限公司」接管經營至2012年初，並於本年2月由被譽為「粵劇白武士」的國際著名堪輿學家李居明先生經過多番努力下承租了「新光戲院」四年。
