Lost in Translation (Movie Review) Episode 8

Boring! This gets lost in translation from the writer/director (Sofia Coppola) to the big screen. This is one seriously plodding "nowhere man" movie, without drama, interesting characters, wit, humor, depth -- anything. Oh sorry, it does have a few decent songs. That's it! If you want to watch two boring people wallowing in their misery and lethargy, and you want to see the Japanese culture made fun of, well, then watch this soporific snoozefest.
As usual, I do a general overview without plot spoilers for the first 8 minutes or so, and then a deep-dive with plot-spoilers.
I rate the movie 1 popcorn out of a possible 10. (Yes, THAT bad)
