We Found a PLANE WRECK in the Mountains | Asheville, NC

This wreckage has been in the mountains just outside of Asheville for over 35 years and sits as a memorial to the pilots who lost their lives. The hike to the plane wreck was somewhat challenging as the path grew smaller and smaller. Happy Goat was able to do this trip easy. The hike is about 2 miles round trip and can be difficult in some areas. The beginning of the hike has a wide trail from the parking lot and as you get closer to the Cessna 414 airplane crash, the trails become steeper and narrow.
