Sunday Longplay - Metroid mOTHER (NES ROM Hack) - 100%, Best Ending, New Game+

This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm revisiting an NES classic that the ROM hacking community has taken to improving in many ways. Welcome to Metroid mOTHER (yes, the name is stylized like that)!

I had played the original NES Metroid on my channel 6 years ago for the franchise's 30th anniversary, but I had just missed out on getting the best ending for beating the game in one hour, so this is my redemption! Also, instead of playing the original game again, I'm playing an improvement patch that combines three other improvement patches together to improve the game in many different ways. Some of the changes made in this hack include:

-Battery Saves instead of the complicated passwords
-Minimap (pause the game to see it)
-Beam Stacking (you can now combine the Ice and Wave Beams together so you don't have to switch between the two by getting the other Ice Beam before Tourian)
-Updated sprites for both Samus and the enemies
-Updated textures
-Updated title screen
-Animated corridors

So I'm playing through the game twice in this Sunday Longplay, because this hack also makes the second playthrough as suitless Samus into a New Game+ mode where you can keep all of your key items (Morph Ball, Bombs, Ice & Wave Beams, Screw Attack, High Jump Boots, Varia Suit) while still having to collect all the energy tanks and missiles again. So I'm showing off both my original playthrough and my New Game+ playthrough into one.
