The Everglades

The Everglades in the south of Florida are usually viewed as a wetland, but they are rather a 60 miles wide slow river of fresh water flowing through wetlands and forests into Florida Bay. The park encompasses the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States, with one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems.
Our one day tour includes stops at Everglades City, Chokoloskee Island and Shark Valley in March 2022.
