Skrad is a cozy little town located in a mountainous region of Croatia called Gorski Kotar and surrounded by beautiful nature: mountains, springs, rivers, forests and hiking trails. It has a long history of tourism, especially as a place of recovery and recuperation because of its fresh air and peaceful surroundings. Skrad is also known as a popular resting spot since it lies on important transit lines, both railway line (Zagreb - Rijeka) and famous Lujzijana (Louisiana) road that was built way back in the early 19th century.
